5. Do I need to wear anything special?

We suggest you wear something comfortable that you won't mind getting paint on, if that should happen.  We do provide long aprons and recommend you wear them.  You may also want to keep your purses and personal items away from the painting area.

3. How much is it if I want to host a private painting party at my own location?

The cost is the same as if you were attending a party at our home studio, as long as your location is within 25 miles.  You must have at least seven guests (plus yourself) to host a private party. 

With a total of at least ten painters, your own cost for admission will be refunded on the day of your party and you will paint for FREE. !  If your location is more than 25 miles from our studio, you will pay an additional travel fee, depending on the distance. 

2. Can I choose different colors?

You can choose from any of the colors we have in our array of paints.  We will also show you how to mix colors together.  Or, if you prefer, you can bring your own paints.

7. What is the cost for a painting party?

Most classes are $35, but there will occasionally be special classes at $40 or $45. We also have a children's party option at $175. All painters must be registered/paid one week before your  party.  If the minimum # of painters is not reached at that time, we may cancel your party at our discretion.

1. When should I arrive at my painting party?​

We suggest you arrive at least 20-25 minutes before your party begins so you can get your paint, find your seat and get situated. 

We start  on time, so please be courteous to fellow guests and arrive a little early.

9. Do you participate in any fundraisers?

Our goals at SmARTee Paints are two-fold.  First, we want to bring the joy of art to people who may not realize they can easily paint beautiful, creative paintings.

Second, we want to give back to our community by partnering with non-profit organizations and participating in fundraisers.  Please see the Non-Profit Organizations page for more information on our fundraising program.

4. What if I cannot make my painting party?

Please provide us with 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or re-schedule for another class.  Many classes will have waiting lists and we can contact another person to fill your spot.

8. When is the painting party schedule posted?

We periodically post open parties from 4-6 weeks in advance.  Our  classes fill up quickly, especially during holiday seasons, so sign up as soon as possible to ensure you get a seat!

6. Can I host a private painting party at your home studio?

You can host a private party at our home studio as long as you have at least five guests (plus yourself).  We can accommodate up to twelve painters.
